Masks, relics & God-Dollies from the Tribe that held the Sky up  ,will be on exhibition in ST.IVES,from the 25th of January.(until 25th February

Selected & installed by Joesph Clarke, Director of the MILLENIUM GALLERY ,St.Ives,
this exhibition  of twenty artefacts,will include some survivors from the original GLASGOW CITY ART GALLERIES, exhibition (way back in 1991),as well as some very recently reconstructed relics from a global village,discovered amoungst the detritus of the consumer cults that thrived on the  tip of the Southwest peninsula, towards the end of the secound millenium.

Some relics currently under reconstruction or restoration in my workshop this week.

I wrote the the legend”The Tribe that held the Sky up”, in 1990,it can be viewed on this website.
A short twelve minute film,a “Mocumentary” commissioned by Glasgow City art Galleries which we,made in 1991 &recently restored & converted to digital format by Finn Tuckerhas recently been made available to view.
